After projecting this thing on our wall from Christmas to mid January, we decided that we wanted to go as big as we could. Almost bought a Hi-power but after getting samples from Da-lite we had concerns with off axis viewing. I then spotted this post by Ron Geyer about the Parkland Plastics Polywall and when they started offering 5’ x 10’ sheets for under 60 bucks including shipping I ordered one. If we were mounting directly to the wall, we would have gone with sheetrock but we wanted to have this thing swing up to the ceiling, out of the way and didn’t want to get a hernia (or himnia) trying to do so. After building the frame and buying the screen, total cost would have been about $200 if our first attempt had been successful. Don't worry though, the wife put us right and it looks great!
